I don't know if that was a fluke or if all of the spring filter bombillas are the same, but the one I received does not filter anything, as the spring has a hole at the end of it that is bigger than the maté leaves. I will be reverting to the normal spoon-shaped bombillas that I have.

Now, either I can't use it or it's totally useless. The tea is amazing, but the bombilla not so much. I'm buying another model. Love the tea too much to let it go to waste
