Leather ‘Matera’ Large Carry Case/Bag

I actually wanted to buy the more expensive matera and finally decided to go for this one mainly due to the darker colour (of course, the 30£ price difference was a factor also) Pros: traditional look, mine has an embossed floral pattern, adjustable height due to the lid , rigid leather, it will keep the mate and yerba upright. Cons: the upper part of the lid is misfitted so there is a considerable gap on the right side, while on the left side the leather goes over the rim, is just sticking out. I thought I could just move it a bit but it is very rigid and there is no way to do that. The interior is not polished/smooth not sure how to describe it, it is visible in the photos, but that goes with the traditional look so it does not bother me. There are 2 small cuts on the front. Another thing is that the strap does not have the larger piece for shoulder protection, as the one in the photos. All in all I would say it is OK as I can fit in everything I need to have mate on the go. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the missing shoulder protection, gap and general crooked aspect.
