If you are ever in Argentina you should pay a visit to the yerba mate museum. Situated just outside of Buenos Aires it is a quaint museum displaying the history of YerbaMate together with exquisite examples of ornate gourds and bombillas. Outside there is a ‘Matebar’ where you can enjoy a mate buffet; Yerba of all kinds, flask with hot water to use, snacks and treats and most importantly staff to help you prepare your mate.
