500g loose leaf yerba mate Playadito Herbal Blend. Produced with stems (con palos). Playadito is an Argentinian Classic. This is a delicious blend of yerba mate and both refreshing and warming blends to give a great all round balanced taste, delicious!

Brewing Your Yerba Mate

The tradition of drinking yerba mate plays an important part of the South American culture. It is enjoyed throughout the southern countries of South America namely – Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Yerba Mate is typically drunk from natural gourd with is hollowed out and dried to be used as a cup. It is then sipped through a bombilla – a metal straw that has a filtered end to separate the yerba leaves from the infusion. This is a great central activity while groups of friends and family come together to chat, and spend time together.
