An autocebante yerba mate flask that brews as you sip
Autocebante means “self-serving” in Spanish: a flask that prepares your mate for you, with no gourd, bombilla or separate thermos needed. Ours takes the idea one step further by solving the biggest problem with on-the-go mate.
Anyone who drinks mate knows the golden rule: yerba should be steeped and drunk almost straight away. Leave the leaves sitting in water and you end up with a bitter, over-brewed drink, which is exactly what happens with most infuser-style bottles.
In the Sip-Brew flask, your hot water, or iced water or juice, stays in the main body of the flask. Your yerba sits in a long, sealed chamber above it. Each time you sip, water is drawn up through the chamber, infuses through the leaves and reaches the spout freshly steeped. The rest of your water stays clean and untouched, so your last sip tastes as good as your first.
Hot mate or iced tereré
- For mate: fill the flask with hot water for a properly steeped mate wherever you are.
- For tereré: fill it with iced water or juice, and add fruit or herbs to the chamber with your yerba, such as mint, lemon or lime (or add to the water directly)

How to use
- Add hot water to the flask for mate, or iced water, juice, fruit, herbs and ice for tereré.
- Screw in the chamber.
- Add your yerba mate of choice to the chamber.
- Screw in the rim, then the spout. Ready to sip!
