Dulce de Leche Repostero / Catering Chimbote

Dulce de Leche is a sweet, creamy caramel spread that is extremely popular in the majority of South and Central America. It is made from milk and sugar, and is a very important dessert ingredient. Often used as a cake filling, or topping for pancakes/waffles/toast, it is also a key ingredient for banoffee pie, as well as a delicious as a sauce for ice cream, or just on its own! Be warned, dulce de leche is very more-ish, have one spoonful and you will be reaching for another!
