Yerba Mate has been used for thousands of years by Guaraní Indians and Amazonians as a natural remedy for mainy ailments – the most famous uses in South America are for energy and stamina, and to help maintain a healthy weight.
Some brands produce special blends that include other herbs such as Guaraná, Green Tea, Chamomile, Boldo etc that also have a history of being used as a natural remedy in some cultures.
