Meta Mate is a producer of ecological, high quality yerba mate, quite unlike other brands as you will discover for yourself. It is wild harvested (as opposed to plantation grown) so the actual yerba is of distinct quality. Production is without electricity; the mill for grinding is powered by a water wheel.

The yerba mate grows wild in São Martinho, where Meta Mate run a reforestation programme, and artesanal production of the mate takes place in Misiones.
