La Merced
La Merced is the premium yerba mate line from Establecimiento Las Marias, one of Argentina’s most respected yerba producers since 1924. Based in Corrientes province, Las Marias is the same company behind the bestselling Taragui brand, but La Merced represents their finest craft.
Each La Merced blend is a single-origin selection, sourced from specific growing regions across Misiones and Corrientes. The leaves are carefully harvested at peak maturity and naturally aged for 12 months to develop a smooth, complex flavour with none of the harshness found in mass-market yerba.
The range includes distinct regional profiles. Campo Sur, grown in the temperate south of Misiones, delivers a gentle and refined infusion. De Monte comes from subtropical forest shade, producing a bolder, more robust character. Barbacua is dried over wood fire using a traditional Guarani technique, giving it a rich, smoky depth.
La Merced arrives in foil-lined packaging inside a presentation box, reflecting the care that goes into every step. If you want to experience Argentine yerba mate at its best, this is where to start.
