Kurupi
Kurupi is a Paraguayan yerba mate brand founded in 1960 by Dr. Oscar Esteban Benitez Raperri in San Juan Bautista. The brand takes its name from a figure in Guarani mythology, one of the seven legendary offspring of Tau and Kerana.
Kurupi was the first Paraguayan brand to introduce herbal-infused yerba mate, and it remains one of the most popular in the country. The leaves are dried over open fire following the traditional Paraguayan method, giving the mate a distinctive smoky character.
The range at UruShop includes Kurupi Clasica, a pure traditional yerba mate, Kurupi Antiacid with a gentler blend suited to sensitive stomachs, and Kurupi Energy with katuava and burrito herbs for an extra lift. All products come in 500g packs and are naturally gluten free with no artificial additives.
