Great Tip - Reuse your Yerba Matein the Garden
As you know, Yerba Mate is a very nutritious tea; it contains a wealth of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytochemicals.
It is not only fantastic for brewing and drinking – it carries on being nutritious after you have used it!
Put your used yerba after drinking on your compostheap or directly onto flower beds and plant pots, it makes a great natural fertiliserand transfers all those vitamins and minerals to the soil and plants. Worms love it and will thrive.
Used yerba mate can be thrown in with the normal compost.
